Chicken Hariyali Fry
Ingredients for Chicken Hariyali Fry:
Chicken - 1/2 Kg
Onion (Piyaz) - 1 no's
Corainder leaves (Dhaniya patte) - A bunch
Mint leaves (Pudina patte) - A bunch
Red chilli powder (Lal mirch) - 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder (Haldi) - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder (Jeera) - 1/2 teaspoon
Garlic (Lehsun) - 6 cloves
Ginger (Adrak) - 1" piece
Green chillies (Hari mirch) - 4 no's
Cinnamon (Dalchini) - 1 stick
Cloves (Laung) - 3 no's
Cardamom (Badi ilaich) - 2 no's
Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Method for Chicken Hariyali Fry:
- Wash and clean the chicken in running water thoroughly and cut into small pieces.
- Grind garlic, ginger, green chillies, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom with lime juice to make smooth paste and keep aside.
- Rub salt, turmeric, chilli and cumin on the chicken pieces and keep aside for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions, fry untill golden brown, add the chicken pieces and fry in medium heat till the chicken is well done.
- Add the ground paste and fry till all the water evaporates and the mixture is dark green.
- Add salt and cook for few minute .
- Enjoy hot chicken hariyali fry with any rice preparations or chapaties.
