DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI
You will be greeted on arrival at Delhi International airport by IHC representative, you will be transferred to your prebooked hotel in Delhi, a brief on your tour by our representative & exchanging of tour documents, relax & overnight in Delhi.
DAY 02: DELHI
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel & start your sight seeing tour of Delhi at 1000 hrs, visit old Delhi covering the magnificent Red Fort, Jama Mosque, Chandni Chowk & Raj Ghat – the memoir of Mahatma Gandhi – Father of Nation. Enjoy rickshaw ride in Old Delhi an amusing experience. Afternoon take a sight seeing tour to cover New Delhi visiting The President House, India Gate, Humayuns Tomb & Qutub Minar. Evening visit the Lotus Shaped Bahai Temple & the famous Temple of Laxmi Narayan. Evening is kept free to explore the markets of Delhi if you wish too, otherwise relax at the hotel & overnight in Delhi.
DAY 03: DELHI – MANDAWA – THE FRESCOS COUNTRY (275 KMS – 5 HRS)
After breakfast at the Hotel checkout & drive to Mandawa known for its frescos paintings, on arrival transfer to one of the Heritage Castle or Haveli in Mandawa. Later walk in the Mandawa Town with your guide who will show you the Frescos Paintings in Aath Haveli Complex, Chokhani Haveli & Poddar Haveli all these Havelis belongs to the famous Industrialist of India. Evening enjoy cultural folk dance & music at hotel. Overnight in Mandawa.
DAY 04: MANDAWA – DESHNOK – BIKANER (200 KMS – 4 TO 5 HRS)
Enjoy breakfast at the Castle Hotel, checkout from Mandawa & drive to Bikaner enroute visiting the most amusing sight at the Deshnok Temple also known as Rat Temple, as you enter this Temple which is an architect delight you will see rats running around freely in the entire complex & devotees making sure not to stamp on the rats as they are believed to be holy in this temple, it is also believed that one who spots a white rat from the lot is supposed to be very lucky. Later proceed your journey to citadel city of Bikaner founded by Rao Bikaji in 15th Century, on arrival transfer to one of the Palace Hotel of Bikaner. Early evening meet the Bikaner Guide at your hotel & start your sight seeing tour of Bikaner visiting the Lal Garh Palace Complex, Junagarh Fort, Ram-Puria Haveli, Bhanwar Vilas Palace & most important the Camel Breeding Farm you can try & taste the Camel Milk for the first time over here. Relax & overnight in Bikaner.
DAY 05: BIKANER – GAJNER – JAISALMER (330 KMS – 5 HRS DRIVE)
Breakfast at the Palace Hotel drive to Jaisalmer enroute stopping at Gajner Lake & the Palace over looking the lake, this lake is situated inside the Gajner Wild Life Sanctuary & the Palace was used as the lodge while Maharajas Hunts for the wild animals in the bygone era. Continue your journey to the golden city of Jaisalmer as you will drive towards Jaisalmer you will see the deserts on both the sides of the road & as you will enter Jaisalmer you will see every building made out of yellow stone even the street lamp because Yellow Stone is found in India only in Jaisalmer, on arrival in Jaisalmer, you will be transferred to your prebooked hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax & see the 99 Bastion Fort from your Hotel Room window or just take a walk in the lanes of Jaisalmer to see the city offers to its local & tourist, one can see the Gadisar Lake from which the water is supplied to the whole city of Jaisalmer. Relax & overnight in Jaisalmer.
DAY 06: JAISALMER – SAM SAND DUNES – JAISALMER
After breakfast at your hotel’s restaurant meet our Guide who will show you the golden city of Jaisalmer start with the Golden Fort of 99 Bastion a different kind of a Fort with people living in this fort, some part of the fort is made into few room hotel, later visit Golden Stone Carving Mansions (Havelis) of Salim-Singh, Pat-won & Nath-mal Singh. Afternoon is free take dip in the pool to cool your self, early evening get ready for the desert Experience drive 45 kms west of Jaisalmer to Sam-Sand-Dunes enroute visiting Jain Temple of Lodurva again a beautifully crafted Temple in Yellow Stone, Lakes of Mool & Amar, arrive at the Dunes of Sam & get transferred to the Camels waiting for you for a Desert Safari till Sun Set on the Dunes, a unique experience of the trip this evening. After the safari ride back to the Car Park & drive back to your hotel in Jaisalmer. Evening free to relax, overnight at the hotel in Jaisalmer.
DAY 07: JAISALMER – KHIMSAR (280 KMS – 4 TO 5 HRS DRIVE)
Breakfast at the Hotel, checkout from Jaisalmer & drive to Khimsar Fort, on arrival transfer to the Khimsar Fort Hotel run & managed by the Maharaja Of Khimsar. Afternoon free to take a dip in the pool, this fort hotel is an actual oasis in desert. Later drive into the villages around Khimsar to get introduces to local cultures and traditions, an experience which often eludes the ordinary tourist. You can interact with various communities living in the area and share and understand their worlds, the Bishnoi’s, protectors of nature for five centuries and arguably the world’s first ecologists, responsible for the survival of species such as the black-buck antelope: the semi nomadic Rai-ka shepherds of Mar-war whose brilliant crim-son and mari-gold costumes would put modern designers to shame: as also the Pali-wals and the Megh-wals, the farm-ers and weav-ers. Also while touring the villages you will see village artis-ans at work creating leather articles, pot-tery and woven hand-icrafts. Besides being home to three species of ant-elope the chin-karas, the blue bull and the blackbuck Khimsar is also a haven for bird watchers with up to two hundred domestic and migratory species. Evening enjoy folk dance & music in the courtyard of the hotel, overnight in Khimsar.
DAY 08: KHIMSAR – JODHPUR (90 KMS – 2 HRS)
Enjoy breakfast at the Fort Hotel Restaurant, checkout & drive to the city of Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon meet your guide & start sight seeing tour of Jodhpur visiting the Mighty Mehrangarh Fort over looking the city of Jodhpur, you will also visit the Jaswant Thada – Cenotaphs of Rajput Warrior on the foot hills of Mehrangarh Fort, later visit the city Clock Tower, the Great Umaid Bhawan Palace which is now one of the best Heritage Palace Hotel of India, visit the Palace Musuem & in the evening drive to Bal Samand Lake & the Palace over looking the Bal Samand Lake. One can see a lot of bird life at this lake. Drive back to your hotel, evening free to walk in the bazaars of Jodhpur, overnight in Jodhpur.
DAY 09: JODHPUR – RANAKPUR – UDAIPUR (278 KMS – 5 HRS)
Breakfast at the hotel, checkout from Jodhpur & drive to Udaipur enroute visiting the 12th Century Ranakpur Jain Temple standing 1444 carved Marble Pillar each carved differently from other. Proceed to Udaipur, on arrival transfer to your lake side hotel. Rest of the day explore Udaipur by walking on the Ghats & seeing the daily chores of the local at the Ghats of Udaipur, relax & overnight in Udaipur.
DAY 10: UDAIPUR
Enjoy breakfast at the Restaurant of the hotel over looking the lake, meet your guide after breakfast & start your sight seeing tour of Udaipur visiting the City Palace Complex – part of City Palace Complex are 2 hotels belonging to Maharana of Udaipur visit Durbar Hall, Palace Museum, Jagdish Temple – The Diety of the Maharanas of Udaipur, Jagmandir Palace & Crystal Gallerry, also see the collection of Vintage Cars belonging to His Highness of Udaipur. Later in the day visit Sahelion ki Baari (Recreation Club of olden days specially made in the honour of the Royal Ladies to meet friends & Gossip), Shilp Gram & Lok Kala Mandal – a museum of ethnic village art. Evening take an excursion tour to the Ruins of Nagda not very far from Udaipur a pretty half an hour drive from the lake city you will reach Nagda to see the Sas Bahu Temple & the famous Temple of Lord Ek Lingji on the bank of Lake Bagel, evening drive back to Udaipur, relax & overnight in Udaipur.
DAY 11: UDAIPUR – DEVIGARH – DEOGARH (100 KMS – 2 TO 3 HRS DRIVE)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotels restaurant overlooking the lake of Udaipur, later checkout & continue your journey to the Heritage Town of Deogarh, enroute have a glimpse of Devigarh Fort Palace which is now converted to a deluxe hotel. On arrival in Deogarh transfer to one of the heritage hotel of Deogarh Rawla Jojawar or Deogarh Mahal This 17 the century Palace is a commanding structure, standing atop a hill offering a panoramic view of the Aravalli mountain range and the numerous lakes, spread through out the countryside. With its greying battlements, domes, turrets, jharokhas and huge gateways. After freshen up take a toy train ride into the villages near Deogarh & visit Dashavtar Temple & Manstambha Temple. Evening explore the villages of Deogarh, overnight at the hotel.
DAY 12: DEOGARH – KUCHAMAN (150 KMS – 3 HRS DRIVE)
Enjoy breakfast at the palace Hotel of Deogarh, after breakfast checkout & drive to the salt trade city of Kuchaman which goes as far as 1250 years ago. The cita-del of Kuchaman is perched on the small mountain like an ey-rie. On arrival transfer to the Kuchaman Fort Hotel. The fort hotel has many exquisitely designed gates with fine paintings on the walls and the ceilings. Visit of this superb place visiting the different palaces, Sheesh Palace, Diwane e Khas, Meena-Bazaar and fabulous covered swimming pool. The visit of Kuchaman fort puts light on its history and the battles won & lost. The palace is immaculately superb and the glimpse of the city from here looks like the stars in the sky. Overnight in Kuchalam.
DAY 13: KUCHAMAN – PUSHKAR – SAMODE (150 KMS – 3 TO 4 HRS DRIVE)
Breakfast at the palace hotel. Post breakfast checkout & drive to the Semi Desert Village of Samode, enroute visiting the ancient city of Pushkar believed to be as old as creation, Pushkar is visited by both Indians & Foreigners the most, Indians visit Pushkar as it has the only Temple of Lord Brahma in the whole country where as Foreigners visit Pushkar during the Pushkar Fair to see the animal trading & the entire tribe of Rajasthan who come to Pushkar during the fair to sell there animal. Later drive to Samode, on arrival transfer either to Samode Palace which is a luxury hotel made out from a Heritage Palace – the first Heritage Hotel of India or one can also stay at the Samode Bagh Retreat which has Luxury Tented Accommodation to have a unique experience. After freshen up get ready to discover Samode in a unique way by transfer on Camel Carts which will take you around in the desert village for an hour where you see the Samode Fort & also the people of Samode Village. Later drive back to your Palace or Retreat. Evening enjoy local folk dance & music, overnight in Samode.
DAY 14: SAMODE – JAIPUR (50 KMS – 1 HR)
Enjoy breakfast in the morning, checkout & drive to the Pink City of Jaipur, on arrival transfer to hotel in Jaipur. One has many choice right from 5* luxury to heritage small Havelis to welcome you in Jaipur. After freshen up take a sight seeing tour of Jaipur comprising of City Palace Complex, Hawa Mahal – the Palace on winds specially made in the honour of Royal Ladies of the bygone era to watch the processions & other festivals from here without being seen from the eyes of the local crowd. Later visit the Royal Observatory & take a peep into the markets of Jaipur known for the superior quality of Handicrafts, Arts, Gems & Jewellery. Evening we will take a driving tour of Jaipur city & visiting the famous Temple of Goddess Galta also known as valleys of monkeys due to large number of monkeys found in the Temple Complex, drive pass through the Sisodia gardens & visit the Temple of Birla – made out in the best of Makrana pure white marble. Later you will be driven to Chokhi Dhani – An ethnic 5* resort with an ambiance of village though this resort is packed by locals but the fun is that you get a chance to experience Indian & specially Rajasthan culture over here with live folk dance & music, puppet shows, camel rides & also you will enjoy the tradition of eating food by seating on the ground & tasting the ethnic Rajasthan cuisine. Later transfer to your hotel for overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 15: JAIPUR – AMER – BHARATPUR – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA (230 KMS – 5 HRS DRIVE)
After an early breakfast leave for Agra by 0830 hrs visit the Fort of Amber, over here you have choice of reaching the fort on Elephant Back or by open jeeps, though elephant ride is recommended because the Kings at there time use to travel on Elephant back & will give you the same feeling of the golden era visit the Amer Fort & Palace & several chambers & ancient temples in the premises of the fort. After this wonderful experience continue to Bharatpur, enjoy bicycle rides in the National Park of Keoladeo very famous for housing more than 385 species of migratory birds, later we will drive to Agra enroute visiting the city of Fatehpur Sikri built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar but later shifted to Delhi due to scarcity of water in Fatehpur Sikri the most importance places to see in Fatehpur Sikri is Bulund Darwaza, Panch Mahal, & Shrine of Shaikh Salim Chisti. Proceed to Agra & transfer to your prebooked hotel. Evening free to relax after the long drive. Overnight in Agra.
DAY 16: AGRA – DELHI (200 KMS – 4 HRS DRIVE)
After breakfast get ready to encounter the 7th wonder of the World – The Great Taj Mahal built by Mughal Icon Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Queen Mumtaz. After admiring the Taj Mahal you will proceed to Agra Fort & visit its Chambers of Kings, Common Man, the prisons & also enjoy a panoramic view of the Taj Mahal from here. Later drive to Ittamuddaulahs Tomb which is also referred as mini Taj for its superb marble inlay works gifted by Mughal King Jehangir to his wife in honour of her Parents. Later in the afternoon checkout & drive to Delhi enroute visiting the Tomb of the Great Mughal Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, later proceed to Delhi, on arrival transfer to International airport to board the flight back home.
